Your Research Team: You will engage in cutting-edge research within the FAIR project, collaborating with a network of universities, research institutions, and industry partners. The project focuses on enhancing AI reliability, sustainability, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative multi-modal models for object perception and manipulation.
- Conduct research on relevant topics, proposing and benchmarking effective solutions on robotic platforms.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deliverables are met and research findings are disseminated.
Essential Qualifications:
- PhD in a relevant field such as machine learning, robotics, or computer science.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C/C++.
- Strong publication record in reputable journals.
- Ability to organize, report, and publish scientific and technical findings effectively.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Additional Skills:
- Experience with real robotic systems and modern machine learning techniques, particularly Transformers.
- Knowledge in robot control, grasping, and machine vision.
- Familiarity with open-source robotics software and simulators.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Motivation to learn and innovate within a collaborative environment.
