Position Overview
This internship opportunity is designed for recent graduates or master's students eager to enhance their expertise and professional skills within a forward-thinking environment.As a member of the Operations Department, you will engage in a project focused on the internal testing procedures of converting lines. The objective of this initiative is to implement standardized statistical methodologies for evaluating data related to the machinery's internal testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire knowledge of the fundamental principles governing converting lines and the internal testing processes, alongside the operational logic within production areas.
- Conduct analysis and mapping of the existing internal testing protocols, including relevant documentation and reporting structures.
- Collaborate with various colleagues from Production and Operations, including the testing team, technical office, standardization, project management, and digital teams.
- Identify and evaluate product quality metrics, as well as machine and component performance, to establish critical test analysis indicators.
- Work alongside your mentor and team to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing the testing protocol by refining current analytical tools using standardized statistical methods for effective monitoring of internal testing.
- Prepare documentation and reports for internal or customer purposes.
- Learn and apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies and work management tools (such as SAP, Minitab, etc.).
- Experience a cutting-edge manufacturing environment, interact with diverse roles, and gain insights into the operations of a multinational corporation.
Candidate Profile
Language Proficiency
Proficiency in the following languages is required:
- Italian: Excellent (C2)
- English: Good (B2-C1)
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A recent degree or be a master's student in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Automation, Electronics, Management, or related fields.
- Technical knowledge of mechanics, including the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- A solid foundation and interest in statistics.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Mandatory fluency in Italian, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Critical thinking abilities.

Educational Background
