RINA is currently seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to contribute to its operations within the Cyber Security and Management Consulting Division.

Objective

We are in search of a junior cybersecurity engineer to enhance our technical team.
Candidates may have less than 5 years of experience in the field, but a solid academic foundation in computer engineering or computer science is essential, along with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

The selected individual will be responsible for:
- Executing technical tasks such as:
o Identifying security vulnerabilities within organizations and intricate systems/architectures;
o Designing security protocols and offering recommendations to bolster security
postures;
o Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and standards related to security and
cybersecurity;
o Assisting clients with cybersecurity-related tasks;
o Preparing technical documentation;
o Potentially engaging in some software code/script development.

Educational Background

Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or Cyber Security.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess:
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, international standards, and best practices concerning Information Security/Cybersecurity (e.g., one or more among the following ISO27k family, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIS Directives, ISA62443, Common Criteria/ISO15408, etc.);
- Proficient knowledge of programming languages (particularly Java, C/C++/C#, VB.Net, Python), their interfaces with major DBMS, and their development environments;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both Italian and English;
- Adaptability and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment;
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

- Security Certifications: e.g., ISO270001 Qualified Lead Auditor, GIAC/GICSP or ISA62443 related certifications, CEH, OSCP, ISACA CISM/CISA/CRISC, ISC2 CISSP.
Previous experience in security certification processes for IT products (related to Common Criteria) will be viewed favorably.
