As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will be instrumental in advancing and supporting the overarching Operational Excellence Strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to foster a cultural shift through the application of Lean methodologies, systems, behaviors, and a performance-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
Your specific duties will encompass:
- Leading technical Continuous Improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing Operational Excellence, minimizing waste, reducing deviations, and optimizing costs;
- Cultivating and sustaining the Operational Excellence network by sharing knowledge, establishing standards, offering consultancy, facilitating communication, and implementing collaborations to uncover new trends in Operational Excellence;
- Overseeing the Operational Excellence Measurement System, coordinating IT efforts, and conducting user training sessions;
- Ensuring the longevity of Continuous Improvement processes and Active Performance Management by spearheading problem-solving initiatives under pressure, performing value stream analyses, and applying visual management techniques;
- Mentoring and training Continuous Improvement team members while nurturing the development of junior colleagues through knowledge sharing and experience.
Qualifications
To excel in this position, we anticipate that you possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in driving change through Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence;
- Certification as a LEAN Specialist or Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt;
- Comprehensive understanding of production processes, IT technologies, and the value stream, including legal and safety regulations;
- Proficiency in English, with knowledge of Italian being advantageous;
- Capability to translate strategic vision into actionable and measurable outcomes;
- Proven ability to analyze, comprehend, and resolve complex challenges;
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and relationship building.
