Job Summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a skilled Utility Control Technician to join our team at the Patheon Monza site. As a key member of the Lyo Pharma Utilities Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our freeze-drying equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the lyophilization process, including equipment checks, trend analysis, and cleaning and testing cycles.
  • Compile and maintain accurate GMP documentation, including batch records, logbooks, and alarm printouts.
  • Monitor and report on the functioning of critical systems, including water and clean steam distribution.
  • Respond to alarms and notifications, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, and report any anomalies to management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior experience necessary, but a strong understanding of physics and chemistry is essential.
  • Soft knowledge of PLC and automation, as well as refrigeration techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel.
