About the Role

Hitachi Vantara Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Planner to join our team. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services from suppliers to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet business objectives
  • Manage and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues and optimize processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual requirements
  • Manage and analyze data to inform supply chain decisions and optimize processes
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement business cases for supply chain initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in supply chain planning and management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
  • Knowledge of procurement planning methods, vendor rating, and supplier monitoring
  • Experience with cost controlling and budgeting concepts
  • Logistics and warehouse management experience
  • Organization and company processes knowledge
