Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Specialist for our retail location. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of all administrative and financial processes within the store. The ideal candidate will embody a strong commitment to the brand and exhibit professionalism in managing various tasks.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage and report daily banking activities and cash reconciliations to store leadership and finance teams.
- Verify the accuracy of all transactions conducted within the store.
- Communicate any discrepancies to the Finance and Accounting departments promptly.
- Oversee store deposits and ensure proper reconciliation procedures are followed.
- Maintain and update daily and monthly reporting, ensuring alignment between active and closed accounts.
- Supervise the management of store credits and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Oversee remote sales, ensuring order forms are accurately completed and all banking details are correct to prevent payment issues.
- Serve as the primary contact for any delivery or order-related inquiries, coordinating with couriers and managing refunds as necessary.
- Ensure all sales transactions are accurately recorded in the store's sales pool.
- Act as the go-to expert for Jasper and SAP systems regarding all accounting-related tasks.
- Provide training to cashiers on local and national regulations, as well as company financial policies.
- Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly performance reports for sales staff.
- Assist with various administrative tasks as directed by the Store Management team.
- Support management in scheduling team rotations effectively.
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including Store Management and Corporate Offices.
Key Qualifications
- Strong dedication to the Gucci brand and enthusiasm for retail operations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team, demonstrating patience and adaptability.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Jasper and SAP is advantageous.
- A background in accounting is preferred.
- Fluency in both Italian and English is required.
