Role Overview:

The District Visual Merchandiser serves as a vital representative of our brand, ensuring that our visual standards and vision are consistently upheld across all locations. This role is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience through effective visual strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Oversee the execution of visual merchandising in stores, providing necessary training and guidance to retail partners while gathering feedback and photographic evidence.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to the DVM framework, including the preparation of monthly photo presentations and store visit reports.
  • Compile and submit weekly recap reports to the Regional Visual Manager.
  • Contribute creative CompShop ideas on a monthly basis to the Regional Visual Manager.
  • Engage in weekly team calls with Senior Visual Management.
  • Lead special projects in collaboration with VM team members and other departments.
  • Coordinate and conduct monthly store walkthroughs with store management.
  • Assist in organizing the annual VM summit with the Senior EU VM Team.

Training & Development:

  • Facilitate VM training sessions for base stores and the district on a regular basis, ensuring a structured approach to store visits.
  • Provide ongoing training updates during weekly District Managers Conference Calls.

Commercial Strategy:

  • Collaborate with store managers to plan and execute monthly visual displays, analyzing store performance to optimize product placement.
  • Support all Store Managers in the district with effective product placement strategies using relevant business tools.
  • Conduct joint visits with District Managers to identify key merchandising opportunities.
  • Align visual strategies with quarterly business objectives and oversee their implementation.
  • Participate in weekly District Managers Conference Calls to discuss key visual merchandising focus areas.

Creative Development:

  • Adapt brand visual merchandising directives to suit local markets.
  • Support retail initiatives through market-specific projects, including seasonal displays and product trials.
  • Implement innovative display techniques at both EU and Global levels.
  • Incorporate creative ideas into model store launches on a monthly basis.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or managing visual merchandising in a flagship environment.
  • Experience in trend-driven, premium fashion businesses.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to deliver effective VM training to store teams both in-person and virtually.
  • Proficient in analyzing KPIs and developing actionable plans.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time.
  • Awareness of industry trends and customer profiles.
  • Demonstrated creative, commercial, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for visual excellence and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with design software such as Photoshop.
