Who You Are:

As a District Visual Merchandiser, you will act as a Brand Guardian, upholding brand standards and vision throughout the territory. Your role will balance creative vision with commercial viability, ensuring an exceptional customer experience across all channels.

The DVM Team serves as a vital support function for Retail, primarily focused on driving visual consistency across all customer interactions and channels within a territory that encompasses multiple stores.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Oversee monthly visual merchandising execution in stores, providing guidance and training while discussing optimal commercial strategies with retail partners, gathering feedback and photographic evidence.
  • Complete all administrative tasks relevant to the DVM structure on a monthly basis, including photo decks, store visit reports, and weekly feedback.
  • Deliver weekly recap reports and insights to the Regional Visual Manager.
  • Propose monthly creative competitive shop ideas to the Regional Visual Manager.
  • Engage in weekly team conference calls led by Senior Visual Management.
  • Lead assigned projects and initiatives, collaborating with VM team members, internal departments (such as marketing), and external partners (department stores, suppliers).
  • Collaborate with store management to host and lead monthly store walkthroughs.
  • Participate and support the annual VM summit organized by the Senior EU VM Team.

Training & Development:

  • Organize and conduct VM training for base stores and the district on a regular basis. Plan and execute structured, training-focused store visits. Support monthly floor set installations across the district by establishing a consistent planning, feedback, and follow-up process.
  • Provide ongoing training refreshers during weekly District Managers Conference Calls.

Commercial Orientation:

  • In collaboration with base store management, plan and implement monthly floor sets. Analyze base store performance weekly, adjusting product placement to meet business needs.
  • Assist all Store Managers within the district with commercial product placement using relevant reports and business tools. Work with District Managers to plan, implement, and oversee local VM strategies tailored to specific markets.
  • Conduct regular joint visits with District Managers to identify key VM and product opportunities in stores.
  • Support quarterly District Managers' business strategies by creating appropriate Visual Strategies and overseeing their implementation.
  • Attend weekly District Managers Conference Calls to brief on key VM focus areas and objectives.

Creative Innovation:

  • Tailor Brand VM directives to relevant markets with a focus on local approaches.
  • Support broader retail initiatives through market-specific projects, such as seasonal concept displays and pop-ups, product trials, and showroom setups.
  • Deliver innovative projects focused on new display techniques for use at both EU and Global levels.
  • Incorporate monthly creative ideas into model store launches.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or managing VM in a flagship store.
  • Experience in trend-led, premium, fashion-focused businesses.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to deliver VM training to store teams in the territory, both in-person and virtually.
  • Experience in analyzing KPIs and developing action plans based on findings.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 40% of time in the home city, 60% travel).
  • Awareness of industry trends and market-specific customer profiles.
  • Demonstrated creative, commercial, and people-focused skills.
  • A passionate and highly creative individual capable of consistently delivering visual excellence in our stores.
  • Commitment to continuous growth, development, and learning new skills, with an interest in a career path within the retail industry.
  • Proficient in IT (Microsoft) applications, including Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Word.
