Job Summary

The Production and Operations Manager will lead and own the end-to-end results of all production lines, ensuring that production plans and maintenance plans are fully achieved on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements, meeting safety, quality, cost, delivery, and environmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the autonomy of the shop floor operational teams, including production and maintenance teams.
  • Establish the manufacturing reliability required level to meet business needs on safety, quality, service, and cost.
  • Lead problem-solving activities to identify the root causes of quality defects, incidents, and eliminate losses.
  • Invest time coaching on the floor, monitoring compliance with opening standards, and checking the management of key standard routines.
  • Responsible for budget preparation and adherence.
  • Development of people and performance reviews of the teams.
  • Responsible for monitoring the performance indicators of the pack area.
  • Couch and promote breakdown analysis.
  • Ensure availability of maintenance resources to implement and execute maintenance routines, methodologies.
  • Promote maintenance methodologies competencies to eliminate quality defects, safety risks, and chronic technical issues.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience managing people in production lines.
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Knowledge of Lean/TPM methodologies.
