Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of Area Managers to achieve operational excellence
  • Manage operational teams on a shift, addressing issues and positively impacting site performance
  • Analyze shift performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security, to design and deliver initiatives to improve operational performance
A Day in the Life

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading shifts at one of our operational sites, working closely with various teams to drive operational excellence. You will also be a key link between teams, contributing to new ways to innovate and improve site performance.

About the Team

Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers' delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts.

Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field
  • Relevant experience in people and stakeholder management
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and intermediate proficiency in the local language
  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
