We are seeking a highly skilled Reservations Manager to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for managing reservations sales-related opportunities, providing exceptional customer service, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and solicit reservations sales opportunities to achieve personal and property revenue goals
- Understand and analyze market trends, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and economic conditions to inform sales strategies
- Develop and implement effective sales plans to maximize room revenue and control property occupancy
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with sales and convention services teams to process rooming lists and reservation cards
- Monitor and track no-show reservations, process charges as needed, and ensure accurate billing instructions are applied to reservations
- Manage wait lists and prioritize order of wait list contacts to be made
- Prepare work and maintenance orders as required
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in an international hospitality company
- Technical knowledge of Marsha and Opera systems
- Warm and people-oriented demeanor, with a team-first attitude
- Positive outlook and outgoing personality
- Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and multi-tasking ability
- Excellent knowledge of English and Italian (both writing and speaking)
- Excellent knowledge of Office365 (outlook, teams, excel)
