About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Italy. As a Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal part in shaping customized road and intermodal transport solutions, managing transportation customers with a focus on profitability and service quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide vision, planning, and insights to achieve business objectives.
  • Coordinate collaboration and communication between Brokerage and stakeholders to identify and eliminate barriers.
  • Achieve sales targets and develop new business through effective selling of brokerage services to new and existing customers.
  • Prospect for leads and build a pipeline through various techniques, including heavy cold-calling.
  • Negotiate with customers to secure profitable rates and client satisfaction.
  • Grow and maintain relationships with customers to uncover new opportunities within current customers.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the industry, including rates, carriers, load capacities, and equipment.
  • Identify barriers to growth and necessary resources to unblock them.
  • Analyze and monitor business performance in a proactive way.
  • Follow established procedures and protocols regarding HVS and HRC loads to ensure shipment integrity and company brand.
  • Update internal tracking and reporting systems throughout the day for maintaining accuracy in sales and volume.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in road transport, with specialization in brokerage or intermodal business.
  • Knowledge of the transport industry, including rates, carriers, load capacities, and equipment.
  • Fluent Italian conversation level and intermediate English proficiency.
  • Customer-oriented and results-driven approach.
