Resumen del Trabajo
El rol se centra principalmente en actividades clínicas relacionadas con el diagnóstico, tratamiento y manejo de pacientes pediátricos en un entorno interdisciplinario junto a profesionales de la salud. Tendrá la oportunidad de trabajar con una variedad de casos pediátricos, incluidos aquellos críticos. Además, esta posición incluye la educación y supervisión de médicos en formación, así como la participación en investigaciones y publicaciones.
Responsabilidades
- Aplica conocimientos sobre el crecimiento y desarrollo en las interacciones y tratamientos con los pacientes.
- Busca activamente la educación continua a través de actividades como la lectura de revistas y la asistencia a conferencias.
- Realiza sesiones de capacitación para abordar las necesidades de desarrollo del personal y residentes.
- Gestiona los procedimientos de seguimiento para pruebas, estudios de laboratorio y llamadas de pacientes.
- Proporciona atención clínica directa, incluyendo la toma de historia clínica, exámenes físicos, planificación de tratamientos, entre otros.
- Ofrece aportes para mejoras departamentales.
- Contribuye a actividades de Mejora del Rendimiento, Investigación y Enseñanza.
- Actúa como mentor para estudiantes de medicina y residentes.
- Participa en el horario de guardia designado.
Requisitos Mínimos del Trabajo
- Doctor en Medicina (M.D.) o Doctor en Osteopatía (D.O.) de una institución acreditada.
- Licencia médica estatal activa en buen estado.
- Certificación BLS de la American Heart Association mantenida durante el empleo.
Habilidades y Cualificaciones
- Fuertes habilidades clínicas, de investigación y enseñanza con un enfoque en pediatría académica.
- Excelentes habilidades interpersonales y de comunicación.
- Capacidad para manejar situaciones estresantes con compostura.
- Dominio en la resolución de problemas y planificación de cuidados.
- Mantiene la confidencialidad y se adapta bien a los desafíos.
