Job Description

The Human Technopole Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement and Supply Chain Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the purchase of goods and services for our departments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with departments and budget owners to understand their procurement needs and develop effective procurement strategies.
  • Analyze prices, negotiate with suppliers, and evaluate proposals to ensure the best value for our organization.
  • Manage the purchase process for goods and services below threshold, utilizing our internal system (SAP) to meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Fluency in Italian
  • Good written and spoken knowledge of English (at least B1 level)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Procurement or sales role
  • Good use of MS Office (Excel)
Preferred Requirements
  • Work experience in/with the Public Sector
  • Good use of SAP
  • Previous experience in a research institute or university
  • Knowledge of the Public Procurement Sector (Procurement Code – Legislative Decree no. 50/2016 and 36/2023) including document preparation
Organizational and Social Skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with tight deadlines and priority changes
  • Analytical skills and precision
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation, and contract management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving capacity and collaborative approach with internal and external stakeholders
