Job Title: Resource Efficiency Manager

Job Summary:

Govcio is seeking a highly skilled Resource Efficiency Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of energy management programs across various facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement energy management plans to reduce energy consumption and costs
  • Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with facility managers and engineers to develop and implement energy-efficient solutions
  • Monitor and analyze energy usage and consumption data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement energy conservation measures to reduce energy consumption and costs
  • Provide training and education to facility staff on energy-efficient practices and procedures
  • Develop and implement energy awareness programs to promote energy conservation and sustainability
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement energy-related policies and procedures
  • Develop and manage energy-related budgets and forecasts
  • Conduct energy-related research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. engineering, environmental science, sustainability)
  • Minimum 3-6 years of experience in energy management or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of energy management principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other energy management software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) certification
  • Experience with energy management software and systems
  • Knowledge of energy-related regulations and policies

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires regular travel to various facilities. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
