The Finance Lead is responsible for overseeing the budget, forecasting, and financial reporting related to the Expansion Project. This role supports Project Management by providing precise forecasting and budget monitoring, including cash flow oversight. Additionally, the Finance Lead ensures that regular reporting meets standards and supervises the company's accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an internal control system (ICS) for the organization.
  • Generate periodic financial reports for the Group, detailing results, cash flows, and investments (IFRS).
  • Assist internal and external auditors during quarterly assessments and annual audits.
  • Create a risk management framework and reporting system for the Group.
  • Foster relationships with external consultants to ensure compliance with corporate, fiscal, and administrative requirements.
  • Prepare and manage the budget, including ongoing forecasting.
  • Adhere to all safety and security protocols, setting an example for others.
  • Follow the corporate authority matrix and comply with contract policies and guidelines.
  • Proactively identify and report opportunities for improvement to direct management.

Qualifications

We seek a detail-oriented and process-driven individual capable of engaging with various project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of accountability, as this role is crucial for tracking project progress and ensuring deliverables are met.

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient knowledge of IFRS and its practical application.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial controlling and commercial administration.
  • Proficient in both Italian and English (German is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project development.
  • Strong skills in MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with SAP and accounting systems/procedures.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, including project controls.
  • Driven, detail-oriented, and responsible for reporting and regular updates.
  • A logical and process-oriented mindset.

The ideal candidate should hold a valid EU work permit and be prepared to relocate as necessary.
