Job Title & Purpose

Purpose of the Job: As a key member of our project engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions for our train systems. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team and ensure that all electrical engineering deliverables are completed on time and to the required standard.

Position in the Organisation

Hierarchical: You will report to the Train Electrical Metier Leader and will be part of the Project Engineering Manager's team.

Functional: You will work closely with the Engineering team, including the PrEM, Train System Engineer, Train Control Engineer, and Train Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Quality, Cost, and Delivery: You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, cost, and delivery of all electrical engineering deliverables, including:

  • Carrying out carryover analysis from previous projects
  • Estimating budgets and workloads
  • Contributing to engineering planning
  • Defining architecture and equipment cubicle content

Operational Management: You will be responsible for the operational management of the S&A and EHI team allocated to the project, including:

  • Ensuring interfaces with Train System, Train Design, Train Control, RAMS, EMC expert, and Industrialization Electrical
  • Managing internal and external activities, including workload, planning, work package reviews, and risks
  • Leading design reviews and deliverables reviews
  • Ensuring baselining contents for your scope
  • Following up with PrEM
Requirements

Knowledge & Experience: You will need to have:

  • Railways electrical engineering knowledge
  • Strong approach in electrical CAD (See One / Catia EHI)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in activity/team management
  • Train systems/functions/Industrialization & Manufacturing of harnesses knowledge
  • Spoken and written English is mandatory
