About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our team in Italy. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and managing external relationships with auditors, government authorities, and tax authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
  • Manage and oversee local external relationships with independent auditors, government authorities, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain sound accounting and financial policies, procedures, and processes to improve financial and internal controls.
  • Ensure other departments' compliance with financial and administrative policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Manage employees to enable them to perform, develop their professional abilities, and realize their full potential.
  • Assist in the ERP migration from AS to SAP.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational degree with relevant professional experience in accounting/finance.
  • Good knowledge of applicable accounting regulations and sound knowledge of tax and corporate compliance.
  • Organized, precise, and strong analytical and proactive skills.
  • Independent and goal-oriented work style with experience in project management.
  • Confident in using MS Office applications and SAP FI/CO.
  • Previous experience with a leading audit company is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and correctly in Italian and English.
