Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Truck Planner (1.0 FTE) for our operations in Italy.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a proactive Operations Trucking Planner within the Italian operations team.
- Monitor and manage transport activities efficiently.
- Facilitate effective internal communication with colleagues involved in trucking and train scheduling.
- Maintain clear communication with drivers and clients to ensure seamless operations.
- Handle all administrative tasks related to transport management.
- Prepare the transport schedule for the following day.
- Report directly to the Operations Manager.
Candidate Profile
- Ambitious and eager for a challenging role with significant impact.
- Excellent communication, logical reasoning, and analytical skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Proficient in both Italian and English, both spoken and written.
- Proactive in seeking operational solutions for clients.
- Comfortable with responsibility and adept at managing the stresses of planning.
- Strong geographical knowledge.
- Competent in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
