About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Incident Response Team Lead to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our Cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in helping our customers protect themselves against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead high-pressure incident response efforts for our top customers, ensuring rapid recovery and data collection.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at every level of the business, including technical teams, executives, consultants, and partners.
  • Contextualize and prioritize findings to build a comprehensive account and briefing of the events that transpired during a security incident.
  • Communicate key objectives and results with clarity and context to various stakeholders.
  • Manage all complexities of large-scale cybersecurity investigations for global multi-national organizations.
Requirements
  • Experience in high-pressure incident response environments, leading and managing high-profile incident response efforts for some of the world's largest businesses.
  • Strong knowledge of security threats, including current attacks, adversary tracking, and academic literature.
  • Ability to communicate technical content with clarity and context, and to lead from the front by ideating, mentoring, and supporting thought leadership efforts across the team.
  • Experience working with methods utilized for evidence collection, maintenance of chain of custody and associated documentation, evidence storage and analysis, and evidentiary reporting.
  • Security certifications in OSCP, CISSP, SANS Certifications, or SC Certifications from Microsoft.
