The IT Systems Coordinator is tasked with ensuring the efficient operation of our technology infrastructure in alignment with organizational requirements, specifications, budgets, and timelines. This role involves overseeing the execution of our company's technological needs.
The IT Systems Coordinator is responsible for managing and supporting computers, printers, internet connectivity, audiovisual systems, cabling, email/network accounts, and telecommunication systems for the organization. This includes maintaining all network domains associated with the company to guarantee seamless connectivity for both staff and clients.
RESPONSIBILITIESOversee daily operations of the IT department to maximize efficiency. Collaborate with vendors and the IT team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve all technical incidents and issues. Build and sustain relationships with technical vendors, third-party partners, and service providers, ensuring they meet service obligations. Ensure adherence to all corporate policies and legal requirements concerning hardware and software installation, usage, and licensing agreements. Implement and evaluate corporate-approved software modifications to the organization's computer systems. Comprehend all standards and tailored features of the front office systems, point of sale systems, and other relevant systems, including system security, reporting, managerial functions, utilities, and user operations. Conduct local system backups to ensure all critical data is secure and operational. Verify that the technology room's fire safety, temperature regulation, and power supply meet the organization's security specifications. Manage all user credentials, passwords, and security settings. Develop, document, and communicate emergency procedures for when the computer systems are non-operational. Collaborate closely with the Engineering department to ensure the proper upkeep of all in-room technology. Manage special projects as directed by management. Design training programs and resources to enhance staff proficiency in utilizing IT systems and tools. Provide assistance to clients with their technical needs and challenges. Comply with corporate IT directives and submit reports punctually. Ensure the availability of all critical systems around the clock. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related IT field. Minimum of five years of experience in the industry, with a preference for candidates with hospitality experience. Proficient in English and Italian, both spoken and written. Skilled in various software and hardware applications with recent training and experience. Familiarity with telecommunication systems, Wi-Fi technology, and routine use of office equipment such as printers and audiovisual tools.
