Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Certifying personnel in:

  • Executing and confirming that all tasks mandated by the operator have been completed during the line maintenance process or Work Package, adhering to the protocols outlined in Volotea's Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE). Additionally, evaluate the implications of any unperformed tasks and coordinate with the operator to reschedule such tasks for a later maintenance check or timeframe.
  • Conducting repairs and diagnosing issues related to incoming defects or those identified during scheduled inspections, as well as managing the planned resolution of previously deferred defects.
  • Ensuring that there are no violations that could compromise flight safety.
  • Verifying that the release certificate and/or technical log statement includes all requisite details and reference numbers, encompassing information on maintenance that was not completed but permits a return to service within the aircraft's approved limitations.
  • Providing technical support to the aircraft and liaising with Volotea's Maintenance Control Center to mitigate operational disruptions.
  • Confirming that the aircraft technical log and related documentation have been finalized to the required standards upon completion of all maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring that any necessary instructions for the flight crew are documented in the technical log where crew actions are essential to validate aircraft airworthiness.
  • Adhering to Volotea's internal and mandatory reporting protocols, including Technical Delay reports and Safety reports.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Line Station, including vehicles, tools, and facilities.
  • Coordinating with Volotea Logistics for the reception, storage, and distribution of tools and parts in compliance with applicable EASA Part 145 regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an EASA Part 147 approved program to obtain an Aircraft Maintenance License or EASA Part 66 License without type rating.
  • Prior experience in an aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) setting: Line Maintenance, Maintenance Control, or Airline Engineering.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of aircraft systems.
  • Strong communication abilities, capable of effectively conveying information to all relevant parties both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential. Knowledge of French, Spanish, and Italian is advantageous.
  • A self-motivated, highly organized individual who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and software (particularly AMOS and Airbus World).
  • Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Experience with AIMS is a plus.
  • Current EASA Regulation (Part M, Part 145), EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety certifications are advantageous.
  • Valid Driver's License.
