We strive to take care of ourselves, each other, and our communities.Job Description SummaryThe Head of Consumer, for France, Italy, and Spain (FRITES), is a senior leadership role responsible for driving strategy, growth, and market share for PayPal in these three markets.Essential ResponsibilitiesDrive revenue growth and global market expansion by identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities.Lead negotiations with external partners and engage cross‑functional colleagues to ensure successful delivery of large complex partnerships.Develop and execute an overall business strategy to grow revenue and market share.Align product and business levers (e.g., pricing and FX) to maximize opportunities.Engage product, engineering, and architecture teams to define technical implementation and design.Represent the end customer, using insights to drive effective prioritization and decision‑making.Expected QualificationsMinimum of 18 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Additional Responsibilities and Preferred QualificationsThis role requires an analytical thinker experienced in working with users and partners to develop consumer product opportunities. It covers exposure to sales, marketing, customer service, product development, and engineering.The role reports to the SVP & GM Consumer and has a dotted‑line report to the VP & GM for FRITES.Strategic LeadershipDevelop and implement the commercial strategy for the consumer financial services product segment in partnership with the Consumer Financial Services org.Act as central coordinator for all consumer product activities in the market.Conduct user, partner, and market analysis to identify opportunities and drive strategic initiatives.Lead marketing, pricing, promotion, and distribution strategies.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and vulnerable customer rules.Monitor consumer outcomes to assess product, service, and communication effectiveness.Commercial OperationsOversee day‑to‑day commercial operations and processes.Manage the end‑to‑end P&L for the consumer & product segment.Develop sales forecast, budget, and financial plans.Cross‑functional CollaborationCollaborate across Engineering, Operations, Partnerships, Product, Risk, Legal, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Business Development to align and drive product outcomes.Represent the consumer commercial function in executive meetings and provide insights and recommendations.Performance Monitoring and ReportingProvide regular reports and updates to senior management on key performance metrics, financial results, and milestones.Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategy adjustments.Implement robust reporting systems to track commercial success.QualificationsMinimum of 12+ years of experience with financial services products and consumer product activities.Proven track record for launching and scaling high‑scale, successful products in a global matrixed organization.Experience influencing senior stakeholders and partners to drive action and change.Demonstrated commercial success scaling a segment in a global, matrixed organization.Multi‑disciplined leader capable of building, developing, and advancing high‑performing teams.Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts persuasively.Hands‑on, “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” mindset to drive change.BA required; MBA or technical degree preferred.Commitment to Diversity and InclusionPayPal provides equal employment opportunity to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, genetic information, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
