For a leading company in the retail sector, we are seeking aChief Operating Officer . Reports to Managing Director. MISSIONEnsure sustainable growth through an efficient and scalable operating model across the entire value chain. Oversee inbound and last-mile logistics, demand planning, import, and infrastructure, driving innovation and integration to support brand and private label strategies with a long-term strategic vision. RESPONSIBILITIESOptimization of inbound and outbound logistics flows, ensuring timing, cost efficiency, and service levels aligned with customer satisfaction goals. Development and maintenance of operational infrastructures (warehouses, offices, and stores), ensuring safety, sustainability, and scalability in line with business growth. Cross-country demand planning and forecasting, ensuring accurate product availability and distribution across markets and channels. Promotion of innovation and digitalization of operational processes, fostering automation, traceability, and system integration, with particular focus on AI-driven optimization opportunities. QUALIFICATIONSDegree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related disciplines; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. At least 10 years of leadership experience in operations management within retail, consumer goods, or large-scale distribution (GDO). Strong knowledge of integrated supply chain management, demand planning, and international logistics processes. Experience in managing complex distribution networks and large-scale infrastructure or operational transformation projects. Excellent financial management, budgeting, and cost optimization skills.
