Order Handling Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan, coordinate, and execute all activities commencing through the process of order acceptance, booking, shipping, payment collection and after sales warranty shipment.Each day, you will implement customer support strategy to increase operational excellence by ensuring orders are scheduled correctly and shipped on time.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Process Control Platform Division within Process Automation Business Area in Genova.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Order Entry: processing new orders after reviewing content, pricing, and all pertinent business data for ABB financial reporting.
• Shipments: responsible for preparing invoices and other documentation required for export shipments. Make all transportation arrangements with freight forwarder.
• Customer requests: recommend appropriate solutions for customer requests, and coordinate with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g. production scheduling, price lists, invoice) is in place.
• Import/Export: plan, coordinate, and execute all export and import operation activities in compliance with IT/EU and foreign regulations.
• Customer relations: build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction
• Targets: on-time delivery measurement
Qualifications for the role
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel. Knowledge of SAP is preferable
- You are at ease communicating in English, mainly written
- You have precision and awareness of deadlines
- You have problem solving skills and a good attitude towards team working
- You possess self-accountability
