We inject liquidity into promising DeFi, RWA, and NFT protocols and push the industry’s progress with research and governance initiatives.Mission StatementAn experienced Staff Engineer and Rust developer to support the growth of our infrastructure, based on an exciting and constantly evolving technology stack. You will work in collaboration with engineers, data scientists and architects to plan and develop new features, integrate new liquidity sources and structure financial systems. The role is a key member of the engineering department, engaging in technical discussions with the architect to iterate the global architecture.Ideal candidates have experience developing low‑latency trading systems, a passion for algo trading, crypto, DeFi and are low‑level system thinkers. The role suits engineers who enjoy challenges and sometimes integrate with poorly documented APIs from protocols.Job DescriptionSupport the implementation, setup and deployment of trading algorithms; sign off technical approach for a given use case.Assist product managers in planning implementation of technical solutions, making trade‑offs and decisions with a larger roadmap in mind within engineering guidelines.Mentor other engineering members and participate actively in code reviews.Review performance metrics and data analysis to identify weaknesses and optimize activities.Ensure processes are well documented.Background and ExperienceAt least 5 years of backend coding experience in C++, Rust, Go or Java.Experience with Rust is essential.Familiarity or interest in trading.Familiarity with financial markets and trading algorithms (order books).Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills.Nice to Have (None Essential)A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in DeFi, Web3 and/or a DAO.Familiarity with AWS.Experience with non‑EVM chains.Preference is for candidates based in the Europe time zone to align with the wider team.Interview Process1st Stage: Short technical interview with the hiring manager.2nd Stage: Technical challenge.3rd Stage: Technical challenge debrief.4th Stage: Final meeting with the wider team.Recruitment PhilosophyWe value self‑awareness and powerful communication skills.
