You will contribute to the implementation of Saipem’s HSE standards on site, supporting both Saipem’s construction team and subcontractors in maintaining compliance with project, client and legal requirements.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the application of Saipem HSE standards, client requirements and local regulations in the Saipem construction site and subcontractors.Support the preparation, implementation and monitoring of project HSE Plans and Procedures.Perform daily inspections in the field, verifying compliance with Permit-to-Work system, risk assessments and method statements.Monitor subcontractors’ HSE performance and ensure alignment with project requirements.Promote HSE awareness through toolbox talks, training sessions and campaigns.Contribute to incident reporting, investigation and follow‑up of corrective actions.Participate in risk assessments, job safety analyses and pre‑task briefings.Provide technical advice to construction teams and disciplinary superintendents on safe execution of activities.What We Are Looking For?EducationMaster’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Safety Engineering or similar field.ExperienceAt least 1–3 years of experience as HSE/Safety Engineer preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or Industrial sectors.LanguagesGood command of English and Italian (written and spoken).Technical SkillsKnowledge of HSE regulations (Italian legislative framework and EU directives).Familiarity with Permit‑to‑Work systems, risk assessment and emergency response.Strong background in HSE audits, inspections and incident investigations.IT SkillsProficiency in MS Office Suite.Knowledge of HSE digital reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI) is a plus.What Can We Offer to You?Contract: Fixed term.Corporate Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, internal gym, discounts and partnerships, services related to health, family, well‑being, and in‑house cafeteria.Hybrid working model: Smart Working options and flexible hours to help you achieve a better work‑life balance.Our One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.Location: Milan, Italy.Additional InformationOur One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.We Support Your DevelopmentDo you feel you might not fit this role perfectly?
