Job Description Role Mission Stationary Industrial Scanner (SIS) Logistics Solutions Product Manager is responsible for defining, executing maintaning Logistics Solutions portfolio. Logistic solutions are based on SIS products (barcode readers and dimensioner) with the integration of 3rd party devices (e.g. dynamic scale, cameras) and accessories (e.g. mechanical frame) to create a "turn key" system (hardware, software, accessories) to address the need for parcels/items identification, measurement and tracking along the logistics supply chain, which targets – mainly – markets, such as E-commerce and Retail, Intralogistics, Parcel & Postal and Airport Baggage Handling Key Responsibilities 1. Business & Commercial Strategy Set pricing and positioning of the owned Solutions portfolio. Monitor revenues, margins, and KPIs; lead corrective action plans to address underperformance. Ensure strategies are commercially coherent and aligned with LA business goals. 2. Solutions Lifecycle Governance Craft a clear, compelling vision that aligns with company goals and customer needs. Oversee the full solutions lifecycle: from concept to end-of-life (EOL), ensuring accountability and milestone discipline. Own major deliverables and business cases before NPD (New Product Development) gate reviews. Manage 3rd party products scouting that could contribute to Solutions creation. 3. Market & Competitive Intelligence Leadership Monitor market trends, applications, customer behavior, emerging disruptions, and competitor activity. Collect the Voice-of-the-customer by conducting research, interviews, and data analysis to deeply understand pain points and needs. Closely co-operate with Product Managers to ensure Products and Solutions development Roadmaps are aligned. 4. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy Oversight & Optimization Define and manage Solution GTM strategies including Launch plans, pricing, positioning, and sales enablement (training, reviews, Voice of Customers etc.). Analyze funnel data, sales performance, and feedback to identify and resolve systemic GTM issues. Lead cross-functional GTM reviews and implement strategies to improve conversion and sales efficiency. 5. Cross-Functional Act as a trusted escalation point for resolving cross-functional challenges affecting solutions along their entire life. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field Languages: Italian or English – Mother tongue or proficient. The role requires international complex interactions on daily basis between Italian HDQs and worldwide bases Sales Team Experience: 5 years of experience in the industry of Logistics Automation in Sales, Product Marketing or Service. Systems and Tools: Familiarity with SAP, Power Bi, MS Dynamics and CRM tools Other Information & Specific Skills Technical Skills Marketing and Financial Data Analysis (Sales, Market, P&L) Technical high-level understanding of Automated Solutions.
