The training will be located more than 50 miles away from the home site location. We are a combination of operations and support teams aligned to continually strive to innovate the last mile delivery process while bringing smiles to our customer’s faces.On the Road Process Assistants are part of the Last Mile operations in RSR and play a crucial role in this rapidly growing team. In this role, you will lead and be responsible for supporting delivery associates through each step of the delivery process and tracking delivery metrics. You will also be responsible for training all delivery associates in safety, compliance, and the operation of the vehicle through all local, state, federal requirements.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the training of new Delivery Associates on how to drive and operate the vehiclesEnsure vehicle cleanliness and appearance is maintained to standard and captured via DA inspectionsEnsure adherence to dress code standardsAssist with production duties, train sort associates and verify SOP complianceTrack and monitor performance including on‑road ride‑behind/ride‑along to measure on‑road quality, adherence to standards, and identify re‑training and process improvement opportunitiesUnderstand workflow and daily production goalsEnsure all federal, state and local laws and requirements are followedCultivate and sustain a safe environment, high‑quality customer delivery, professional driver experience and positive cultureEnsure all job injuries are reported timely in accordance with established policy and procedureProvide direction utilizing independent judgmentEstablish trust and credibility by maintaining a high level of integrity, communications and professional demeanorEnsure work areas remain clean and are equipped with proper equipment and suppliesIdentify and address safety hazards within the work areaBasic Qualifications1+ year of Microsoft Office products and applications experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysCan lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachWork 40 hours/week, and overtime as requiredValid and active driver's licenseMust be able to obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification FilePreferred QualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, and/or prior Amazon experienceDemonstrates problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to communicate effectively (written and verbal) across various levels of an organizationHistory of meeting/exceeding departmental goalsExperience leading teamsCapable of providing direction to team members using independent judgmentOrganization and time management skillsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $22,880/year in our lowest geographic market up to $57,200/year in our highest geographic market.
