Job ID: | Amazon.com Services LLCThe Process Assistant is assigned to the Area Manager and holds responsibilities specific to the different Fulfillment Center areas.Key Job ElementsSupport and work in the department as requiredHelp support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliersProvide vacation coverage for Area ManagersFollow up on policy and track attendance (duties do not extend to discipline)Track and report ATS/labor hoursAssist the floor as an associate resource, train associates, and verify SOP complianceEnsure successful area performance through tracking, reporting, and feedback of associate performanceParticipate in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacityFill in as needed with production dutiesFully understand workflow and daily production goalsReview and update SOP as requiredAssist in keeping work area clean and organizedIdentify and address safety hazards within the work areaCoach associates to work safely at all timesParticipate in safety initiativesRefer all job injuries immediately to area managerBasic Qualifications1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysCan lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachWork 40 hours/week, and overtime as requiredBe 18 years of age or olderPreferred QualificationsEducation beyond High School, and/or prior experience managing employeesExcellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrated problem solving and analytical skillsDemonstrated written and verbal communication skills with all levels of Amazon associates and managementExperience with an FC kaizen or Shingi eventAwareness and willingness to use OE tools and techniquesExperience working in Problem SolveLeadership abilityAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $22,880/year in our lowest geographic market up to $57,200/year in our highest geographic market.
