Job ID: | Amazon.com Services LLCThe Process Assistant is assigned to the Area Manager, and will hold responsibilities specific to the different Fulfillment Center areas.Key Job Elements Support and work in the department as requiredHelping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliersProviding vacation coverage for Area ManagersProviding policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline)Tracking and reporting of ATS/labor hoursAssisting the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP complianceEnsuring successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performanceParticipating in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacityFilling in as needed with production dutiesFully understanding workflow and daily production goalsReviewing and updating SOP as requiredAssisting in keeping work area clean and organizedIdentifying and addressing safety hazards within the work areaCoaching associates to work safely at all timesParticipating in safety initiativesReferring all job injuries immediately to area managerBasic Qualifications 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experienceHigh school or equivalentWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysCan lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachWork 40 hours/week, and overtime as requiredAre 18 years of age or olderPreferred Qualifications Education beyond High School, and/or prior experience managing employeesExcellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrated problem solving skills and analytical skillsDemonstrated communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of Amazon associates and managementExperience with an FC kaizen or Shingi eventAn awareness and willingness to use OE tools and techniquesExperience working in Problem Solve a plusLeadership abilityAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $22,880/year in our lowest geographic market up to $57,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
