Key ResponsibilitiesDaily management of shift Administrative management of associates Job allocation to associates Monitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality and safety Analysis of data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve performance Monitor status of problem‑solve queues Responsible for shift quality and associated action plans Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates Conduct a 4M and 5S audit for the respective work stations on a daily basis Implement the formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen Defining the transportation process from FC to FC/RSC Ensure enough bandwidth in sortation team to ensure peak time delivery management Continuously improve the throughput and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement Stand‑in for Area Manager Basic QualificationsHigh school or equivalent Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required Preferred Qualifications1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
