Job Title Technical Training Specialist at GE VernovaJob Description Provides expertise in analyzing technical learning needs for a business or function, then designs and delivers training solutions. Impacts quality of training schedules, orders, and tracking of all courses organized in the Site, and runs the system for qualification traceability (Skill Matrix). Performs needs assessments, designs and facilitates employee training materials and programs across a variety of topics to meet organizational needs. Oversees training processes, monitors methods, gives feedback on areas for improvement, and works with other functions to identify training requirements and institute plans for new and existing employees. Supports the team by ensuring all employees work efficiently and to company standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform CVP (Competency Verification Process) for new employees and contractorsDevelop and lead effective induction programsCoordinate appropriate training activities for new recruits and current employeesParticipate in qualification appraisalsAdministrate Skill MatrixDesign and deliver system learning and development solutions in conjunction with subject matter expertsCommunicate with employees about technical issuesLead in‑person or online training sessionsDevelop training manuals that target tangible resultsEnsure training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effectiveMaintain training records (trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets)Administer training nominations, registration, and logisticsGather feedback on sessions to improve future content and presentationCoordinate with trainers, facilitators, partners, and beneficiaries \ Contribute to selecting appropriate training methods and materialsPlan, organize, facilitate, and order supplies for training eventsMonitor and review trainee progress through questionnaires and manager discussionsResearch new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and present researchCreate materials for training sessionsOversee maintenance of curriculum and materials recordsAssist in development and implementation of plansOversee employee attendance and performanceMaintain knowledge of new training methods and techniques applicable to the organizationReview existing third‑party training materials for appropriateness and relevanceCommunicate training programs on a timely basisPerform necessary administrative functions to deliver and document training programsAssess training materials prepared by instructorsOrganize training sessions specific to various roles in the companyRequired QualificationsProven experience in Gas turbine assemblyBachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field with experience in technical training OR Associate’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field with experience in technical trainingDesired CharacteristicsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsKnowledge of GE products and quality tools (nice to have)Demonstrated experience managing change in a dynamic, international, and fast‑paced environmentExceptional problem‑solving and communication skillsGood knowledge of English and Italian, written and spokenDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsDemonstrated ability to lead programs/projectsAbility to document, plan, market, and execute programsAbility to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesAbility to bring assignments to successful completionEnergetic self‑starter capable of working with minimum supervisionAbout Us Aero Alliance is a Joint Venture that serves three customer segments – its two parent companies, Baker Hughes and GE Vernova, as well as the Authorized Service Providers (ASP) network.
