Tech Principal Product Manager (Live TV), Fire TV Experience Job ID: | Amazon Development Center Germany GmbHIf you are a product leader with experience launching televisions in markets around the world, this is the role for you In this role, we\'re seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead global expansion of the Live experience on Fire TV. You\'ll drive innovation and product excellence while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver entertainment solutions to millions of customers globally. You\'ll have significant impact on Fire TV\'s future direction and work with leadership across the organization.In this position, you\'ll collaborate with a dynamic team including hardware, operating system and software engineering, user experience, finance, marketing, customer service, and leadership in defining our live experience for customers worldwide. You\'ll guide teams through complex product development cycles. You\'ll also partner with our first‑party hardware and third‑party OEM teams, aligning roadmaps to ensure our live software strategy enables and differentiates global growth across our device portfolio.This opportunity allows you to shape the future of home entertainment at scale. You\'ll work with emerging technology, lead innovative projects, and create products used by millions of customers worldwide.Key job responsibilities Develop and execute the consumer‑focused product strategy and vision for Live on Fire TVCreate comprehensive, long‑term product roadmaps aligned with team strategy and visionPrepare detailed business requirements and user stories for product specifications and architecture developmentBalance priorities between customer experience, performance metrics, and operational efficiencyCoordinate product launches with Engineering, Operations, Go to Market, PR, and other Product teamsBuild consensus for product vision and strategy across technical and leadership teamsCollaborate effectively with diverse cross‑functional technical, design, and commercial teamsA day in the life As a Principal PMT, you collaborate with engineering and design teams to refine the product roadmap, balancing customer needs with technical possibilities. You connect with hardware partners to align software strategies that will differentiate Fire TV in the marketplace. Throughout your day, you make data‑driven decisions that shape entertainment experiences for millions of customers worldwide.Basic Qualifications Experience in technical product management, program management or engineeringExperience owning\/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience with end to end product deliveryPreferred Qualifications Bachelor\'s degreeExperience working directly with Engineers on product enhancementsExperience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvementExperience working on a consumer hardware or software productAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
