Position: Finance Manager / Controller - FMCG Location: MilanSalary Guide: Depending on Experience / QualificationsOverview:Reporting to the European CFO, we are looking for a Finance Manager / Controller to become a Finance business partner for the Italian business units. The company has operations across the globe and a market leader in their sector (FMCG). This position will be a key hire in the European finance team and trusted advisor to the Italian business units.Responsibilities Include:Responsible for Finance and Controlling for the Italian business unitsHands on leading of the closing process as well as preparation, analysis, and presentation of monthly financial resultsBusiness partner with Italian group leaders, examining financial performance, investigating opportunities for profit enhancement, and recommending actions that promote improved financial resultsResponsible for compliance and internal controls working closely with counterparts across EuropePreparation and of forecasts, budgets and business plansWorking with the European CFO to identify and lead strategic decision analysis projects to drive valueKey part of ongoing projects including SAP upgradesIdentify financial process improvement and standardizationDevelop and maintain partner relationships with the leadership teamRequirements:Educated to degree level in a Finance or Business related subjectQualified accountant / MBA an advantageAt least 5 years finance experienceSolid experience in Finance Management / Controlling for multinational corporations - consumer goods or similar essentialExperience in compliance and internal controlsExperience in forecasting, budgeting, reporting and analysisSelf-Starter with a strong work ethicExperience working with and supporting senior management requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with diverse people across different functions/culturesGood IT skills - MS Office and SAPSummary:This is a great opportunity for a professional finance Manager / Controller to join a truly global organisation and rapidly develop your career within a multinational and dynamic environment.Apply:David BrownLondon+44 (0)
