Control Room SpecialistLocation: Trieste, Via degli Alti Forni S/N – HHLA PLT Italy S.r.l.ResponsibilitiesVessel / train scheduling managementYard management (movement planning, allocation, inventory)Transmitting operational instructions to operational departmentsCoordination between ship / train operations and the yardTimely communication and coordination between the yard, gate and external third parties (e.g., Port Authority, agencies, ships, pilots)Managing external traffic flows for ro‑roManaging correspondence with external parties (agencies, customs, etc.)Managing documents (ro‑ro, container, trains)Managing disembarkation / embarkation lists, ship and train lists, unit blocking or release noticesManaging requests for ancillary services (e.g., customs visits, VGM)Data processing for correct customer invoicingRequirementsPrevious experience in vessel / train / yard planning (preferred)Previous experience in shipping agencies and / or in port sector (preferred)Fluent written and oral English (other languages are a plus)Good Excel knowledgeWillingness to work shifts (including night shifts and weekends) and flexible hoursAbility to work under pressureAbility to perform several tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work in a teamDriving license (B)HHLA PLT Italy is part of HHLA Group, with over 6,400 employees worldwide.
