Instructional Designer

We're seeking an exceptional Content Developer to join our Amazon INFC Learning team to support operations training initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in instructional design with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual design and multimedia content creation. You will be responsible for designing and developing innovative learning content that enhances strategic capabilities within the INFC organization. You must be skilled in creating engaging training materials including graphics, visual designs, branded materials, posters, One Point Lessons (OPLs), infographics, and video content. The role involves developing comprehensive storyboards, effective assessments, and managing learning projects of varying scales while maintaining high quality standards. Success in this role requires strategic thinking with a creative problem-solving approach, excellence in project management with keen attention to detail, and good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Key responsibilitiesDesign and develop innovative learning content that enhances strategic capabilities within the INFC organizationCreate engaging training materials including graphics, visual designs, branded materials, posters, One Point Lessons (OPLs), infographics, and video contentDevelop comprehensive storyboards and effective assessmentsManage learning projects of varying scales while maintaining high quality standardsA day in the lifeAdhering to the core principles of adult learning, we create learning materials that are engaging and interactive for learners to increase knowledge retention and recall. We work with Operations, Business, Program & Training Delivery teams to identify scope of training. We use modalities such as bite-size learning (mobile learning), OPLs, Infographics, instructor-led, blended, including assessments to build quality learning experiences for our learners and periodically evaluate them to assess effectiveness.Basic qualificationsBachelor's degree or aboveExperience in stakeholder or customer management and project management will be an added advantageMust be proficient in translating content into regional languagesAbility to manage data effectively through analysis and generate accurate reportsStrong presentation skills with ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiencesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)Strong organizational and interpersonal skillsHands on experience on various content development tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Canva, VyondUse of AI tools to speed up content development processPreferred qualificationsExperience working in a related industryCertified instructional designerPrimary knowledge of using AI tools to create content will be an added advantageAdditional notesWe include an inclusive culture statement and accessibility information for applicants.
