Talent Solutions, part of Manpower Group, for an important pharmaceutical client based in Florence, is currently recruiting for an ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST Reporting directly to the Corporate Accounting Projects Manager, the candidate will be responsible for the accounting activities in the functional area of both general accounting and management control for a recently incorporated legal entity, operating in the oncology business. The role will meet the growing administrative needs of the company and support the completion of the SAP ERP implementation. MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Activities, responsibilities and projects: Activities and responsibilities assigned to the candidate will be mainly those related to the company's general accounting and preparation of financial statements, those supporting the preparation of reporting in the area of management control, as well as those related to accounting and corporate compliance. Possibility to participate in SAP implementation process both at legal entity and group level. Main internal and external stakeholders: the main internal stakeholders will be the Corporate Planning and Controlling Department, the Corporate Legal Accounting Department and the Finance Italy Department. The main external stakeholders will be the consultants and employees of the recently incorporated legal entity. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Economics is required as a minimum prerequisite. Additional educational qualifications, such as a master's degree and/or postgraduate master's, are considered qualifying elements; minimum of 3 years of experience in consulting or corporate industries, in administrative or controlling roles; Good knowledge of SAP system in both FI and CO modules (for general accounting and controlling): Good knowledge of the Office package, especially EXCEL; Good knowledge of both Italian and international accounting standards; Very good written and spoken English language skills; Good organization, punctuality and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities; The candidate should be: determined, flexible and open to change, with the ability to manage multiple projects. Degree in Business Administration/Economics; 3 years previous experience in administrative or controlling roles; Very good spoken and written English
