**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

**Position**:
Head of Main Operations Center and C3 supports Director in developing and implementing C3 plans for the Olympic and Paralympic Games including operating and readiness plan for Main Operations Center.

This role will lead C3 and MOC planning and play one of key roles in MOC operations as per Olympic and Paralympic Games requirements and IOC master schedule.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop C3 operating and readiness plan
- Develop MOC operating and readiness plan
- Develop MOC Policies and Procedures
- Liaise with City Operations on implementation of C3 plan
- Coordinate development and implementation of C3 with MiCo26 FAs
- Coordinate FA participation in MOC
- Manage MOC Issues Management System
- Implement MOC specific readiness and training activities
- Manage MOC team and activities during Games time
- Work closely with Head of Risks and Issues Management to develop incident and crisis management plan (ICMP)
- Work closely with Head of Readiness Delivery to ensure C3 and MOC operations are well practices and tested
- Lead the development of efficient reporting processes and tools for Games operations
- Further activities may include participation in risk and incidents management and tasks related to operational readiness
- May be assigned other tasks in the area of Operational Readiness and MOC as delegated by Director

**Requirements**:

- Experience in major events organisation, C3 and operations center roles
- Exeprience in operational readiness and major events
- Strong project management skills and organizational skills
- Experience in incident management implementation and administration
- Track record in working with different stakeholders
- Ability to coordinate inputs, requirements and demands on numerous constituencies into a cohesive effort
- Ability to simplify, synthetize and build powerful reports and presentations to support the programme
- Ability to work under pressure and with flexible attitude to deal with changing priorities
- Strong relationship building and communication skills
- Team player and independent thinker
- Pro-active in flagging problems and proposing solutions
- Open to learn new ways, methods and culture
- Degree in economics, business administration or related disciplines
- Excellent writing skills in Italian and English
- Advanced user of Microsoft suite ( excel, word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Experience with other project management systems is a plus
