**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

**Position**:
Head of Risks and Issues Management plays a key role within the area of Operational Readiness and Games Operations by leading risks identification and management process and facilitating games operations issues management

This role is essential in planning and readiness for Games operations. He/She involved in following activities:

- Head pre-Games issues management for Games Operations area with direction of Operational Readiness and MOC Director
- Develop and manage operational risk management process within MiCo26, including development of tools, instruments, timelines and deliverables
- Coordinate operational risk identification with all FAs
- Own the operational risk register
- Develop and manage contingency planning process
- Work closely with Head of C3 and MOC to develop incident and crisis management plan (ICMP)
- Participate in developing efficient reporting processes and tools for MOC operations
- Provide and coordinate input and content for operational readiness delivery May be assigned other tasks in the area of Operational Readiness and MOC as delegated by Director

**Requirements**:

- Experience in major events organisation, preferably in operations, command centers C3 and readiness
- Strong project management skills and organizational skills
- Experience in incident management implementation and administration
- Experience in implementation of risk management processes, methodologies and tools
- Experience in analyzing and managing complex data and information, both qualitative and quantitative
- Ability to coordinate inputs, requirements and demands on numerous constituencies into a cohesive effort
- Ability to simplify, synthetize and build powerful reports and presentations to support the programme
- Ability to work under pressure and with flexible attitude to deal with changing priorities
- Strong relationship building and communication skills
- Team player and independent thinker
- Pro-active in flagging problems and proposing solutions
- Open to learn new ways, methods and cultures
- Degree in economics, business administration or related disciplines
- Excellent writing skills in Italian and English
- Advanced user of Microsoft suite ( excel, word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Experience with other project management systems is a plus
