**Marketing Manager, Italy**

Are you a passionate, energetic and creative marketer with a keen interest in the fast-paced adtech space? We are looking for a marketing leader to join our growing business. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Europe, this is both a strategic and hands-on role.

This role is a newly-created position due to company expansion, and will play an essential role in developing and implementing Italy marketing strategy. We’re a small and dynamic global marketing team, so you’ll also have influence and involvement in European and global marketing initiatives, for example, rolling out new initiatives created in the

The individual in this role will work closely with key stakeholders across the company, including Italy sales, product, insights teams as well as the rest of marketing. They’ll have strong commercial acumen, partnering with Italy sales leads to optimise ABM planning across a range of marketing channels. This generalist role gives high visibility and exposure within Blis, working across some of our most high profile activations and will include a mix of events, content, sales tools, partnerships and gifting for this region.

**Key responsibilities**

**Marketing strategy and implementation**
- Develop and implement the Italy marketing strategy in collaboration with the Head of Marketing, Europe and Italy sales leads and support/localise global GTM plans.
- Manage all parts of the marketing mix for your region, including events, partnerships, sales tools inc case studies, gifting, swag, social, content and PR, across paid, owned and earned channels.
- A strong focus on event management from strategy through to implementation and tracking success, from industry partnerships, panel sessions, conferences, through to agency roadshows, client offsites and informal mixers.
- Understand the competitive landscape and work with the product/product marketing and marketing teams to ensure differentiation consistent messaging in the Italy
- Manage the Italy marketing budget and vendor relationships.
- Own the Italy lead management process: setting up tracking, monitoring incoming leads, uploading them to CRM, and following up with sellers. Work with Italy sellers to maintain and update contact database.

**Partnering with the business & industry**
- Work closely with the Italy sales teams to exceed revenue, margin and profitability targets through a deep understanding of Blis’ tiered accounts and where marketing can add most value with ABM activations.
- Act as a key strategic advisor to Italy sales leads, including understanding critical changes in the competitive landscape, the Italy marketplace and external business environment.
- Primary liaison for Italy sales team for seller requests. Attend and engage with weekly sales meetings and sales training.
- Keep up to date with local trade press, and inform local sellers of key account developments e.g acquisitions, changes of staff, strategic shifts.
- Manage internal communications around Blis’ Italy marketing strategy.
- Manage relationships with key Italy partners and trade bodies and ensure Blis is well represented, for example, by negotiating speaking opportunities.
- Represent Blis at events, where appropriate

**Skills and requirements**
- Six+ years’ marketing experience, ideally within the advertising sector, with regional experience of the Italy
- Proven track record of success in tactical marketing roles in and working within high-growth, entrepreneurial environments, where multi-tasking is essential.
- Proven track record of collaboration and creating strong partnerships internally with marketing, sales and product teams, as well as senior executives.
- Experience in relationship and partnership building with key trade organisations, agencies, partners and other ecosystem players within the digital marketing, mobile and advertising industries.
- Ideally knowledge and experience with Hubspot or other automation platforms and Wordpress/Elementor.
- Experience with programmatic and/or SaaS technology and mobile location technology expertise is a plus.
- Experience in a client-facing, industry-facing role is a plus.
