**Position Snapshot**:

- Nestlé in Italy, Milan headquarter
- Permanent contract
- Management engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain or Demand Planning
- Proficiency in English and Italian

**Position Summary**:
In this role you will develop, maintain and improve a Demand Plan (both Baseline and promotional volumes) at SKU level and on weekly basis for a portfolio of products, which represents the most realistic estimate of customer demand. In addition to this, you will ensure the alignment of this Demand Plan with internal and external partners through the Monthly Business Planning and Collaborative Planning processes. You will also identify and manage exceptions, and monitor performance in order to continually improve the quality and reliability of the Demand Plan and the Company’s ability to sense and respond to changing circumstances.

**A day in the life of Demand Planner Retail**:

- Bring in the monthly forecasting process the promo and no-promo demand as it comes out from promo and customer plan in alignment with Category Sales Manager
- Review historical sales trends, evaluate statistical forecast results and develop SAS tools
- Consistently achieve sustainable Demand Plan Accuracy and variability BIAS balance
- Support to Category in evaluation and definition of next year volumes for Campaigns (Xmas, St. Valentin, Easter)
- In case of shortage of stock (short/long period), receive the input from Supply Planning, giving alert to sales and give Customer priority to allocate stock in according with Sales Manager
- In case of possible waste, receive the input from Supply Planning and contact Sales to identify possible actions to avoid waste
- Working with several Internal Stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Corporate and Category Channel & Customer Development, Supply Planning and Sales and Category Controller

**What Will Make You Successful**:

- Degree in Engineering or Economics
- At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain or Demand Planning
- Good knowledge of Excel and SAP
- Strong analytical mindset
- Strong communication and relational skills
- Good in stress management
- Collaborate proactively with innovative and constructive approach
- Mental agility, insight, analysis and synthesis
- Fluent English and Italian
