**Position Snapshot**:

- Nespresso Italy
- Permanent Contract
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in Supply Chain or Demand and Supply Planning
- Bachelor or Master Degree, specialization in industrial engineering
- Fluent Italian and English

**Position Summary**:
The Demand and Supply Planner creates and maintains forecast models for a defined product category, incorporating information gathered from sales, crm, finance, etc. He/She supports proactively the business planning and the S&OP process, giving full visibility of product category contribution on market growth target. As supply planner major scope is to ensure optimal stock level on central DC to guarantee stock availability and matching stock cover targets.

**A day in the life of Demand & Supply Planner**:

- Develop and maintain demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
- Interact with Sales, Crm and Finance to understand demand forecast drivers
- Guarantee the right level of stock according to Working Capital target
- Provide input to the Retail Supply Planning to guarantee a high level of stock availability
- Use and maintain the Demand & Supply Planning software
- Build strong relationship with major stakeholders within and outside Supply Chain
- Leading project for lean process reengineering, identifying how to improve supply planning systems and processes to achieve greater efficiency & scale
- Managing phase in / phase out process for launches and promos execution from a planning perspective

**What will make you successful**:

- Master’s degree engineering or mathematics
- 2/3 experience in Demand Planning or Supply
- Embraces change, challenges status quo and makes recommendations for improvements to standard routines and processes
- Positive forward-looking mindset, problem solving attitude and team spirit;
- Approaches challenges with a data-driven and solution-orientation mindset
- Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel)
- Experience with S099+ tool or other planning systems
- Knowledge of statistical algorithms for forecasting
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Fluent in English and Italian
