**Company description**
At IKEA Supply we secure the IKEA suppliers management from commercial, logistics and engineering perspective. We have several Business Teams handling different suppliers, assigned based on “product category”. Food Category is responsible to handle IKEA “Food Suppliers”. We are looking for a new Quality/Packaging Specialist that will join our Quality Compliance Team and will contribute to the development of Food Category in our region.

Purpose of function**

The Quality/Packaging Specialist in Quality Team will:

- Support the Food and Food Logistics Business Teams to develop the Quality agenda in the region.
- Verify compliance against Food Quality requirements, standards, and ways of working to deliver products satisfying customer expectations.
- Contribute to build up quality competences
**Assignment**

Main tasks of Quality/Packaging Specialist will be:

- Plan and perform audits; based on audit result, support the business teams and suppliers in implementing the containment and corrective actions.
- Support development and implementation of common working methods and tools.
- Contribute to continuous development of Packaging in IKEA, by cooperating with Packaging Development Engineers in relation to Packaging Solutions.
- Lead local/global projects related to Quality.
- Support introduction of new co-workers on IKEA Quality/Packaging Ways of Working.
- Support business team with specialist knowledge regarding packaging requirements.
- Secure competence development in business teams and at suppliers, by knowledge sharing and facilitating relevant trainings.

Competences**
- At least 3 years’ experience in quality assurance/control in Multinational companies.
- Preferred background in food engineering/science or chemistry.
- Experience in leading projects connected to quality.
- Auditing skills.
- Preferred experience in facilitating trainings.
- High energy and drive to work with and through others both in IKEA and with suppliers to reach common goals.
- Strong communication skills.
English fluent.
