Accounting Specialist

Generali Investment Holding is the main holding company of the Group Generali gathering the asset management’s entities. The company provide also specialized services mainly to Group companies dedicated to asset management & investment but also to third party clients.

Whitin CFO area, accounting team is responsible to manage general accounting activities, consolidation, analyses. The structure must guarantee the effectiveness of internal controls and ensure statutory compliance in all accounting initiatives. The team interacts with other finance departments and is responsible of GIH, GIAM and GIP accounting activities.
- Analyze the impact of new processes on the administrative accounting systems, maintaining a pro-active relationship with the internal IT outsourcer
- Manage and file accounting documentation
- Calculate fees payable to GIAM and GIP for the managed assets, performing appropriate checks and controls
- Prepare the necessary data to draw up the draft financial statements and any other type of periodic report
- Manage administrative accounting activities within its competence concerning taxes and contributions
- Carry out the adaptation of the relevant procedures and processes to the reference accounting legislation
- Manage payments, checking the accounting documentation
- Record and manage Company financial and monetary flows
- Manage accounting issue of property securities
- Manage bank accounts and relations with banks for profiles within its competence
- Prepare the necessary documentation for the Audit firm
- Carry out the necessary measures to produce data within its competence for statistical and Supervisory reports
- Take care, for the contracts within its competence, of the formal check and of the electronic archiving according to the relevant operating procedure

**Requirements**:
Must have:

- Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong knowledge of SAP environment and FI and TR modules
- At least 4-5 years’ experience in the asset management or service industry
- Proved Project Management skills (leadership, negotiation, scheduling, etc.)
- Internal Control / Compliance background will be considered a plus
- Ability to understand complex concept and deploy them into concrete actions plan

Nice to have:

- Strategic skills/mindset
- Knowledge of a second foreign language (French and / or German)
- Certified Accountant Qualified with strong IFRS background
