- Job description
- As Junior Legal Counsel you will respond to the Senior Legal Counsel - Southern Europe Hub (Italy, Portugal & Spain). You will support him and work in close consultation with the legal counsels of the other countries. After a training period, you will draft and review standard legal documents and provide legal support especially on commercial, consumer law and competition law related matters_. _You will also be involved in corporate housekeeping matters_. _Your work will mainly include corporate and commercial legal matters, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex agreements and you will be involved in corporate, M&A, antitrust, privacy, and IP related matters_. _

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in other legal areas based on your interests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Draft and review standard legal documents (such as NDAs and corporate resolutions).
- Provide legal support for commercial law, consumer law and competition law.
- Maintain and develop our global contracting management system and take ownership for the accuracy of the system.
- Support the manager in representing the Company in legal proceedings and disputes.
- Handle day-to-day administration (such as filing, coordinating signatures, correspondence, etc.) and participate in group projects and ad hoc requests.
- Collaborate with independent external law firms when necessary.
- Learn how to manage legal processes and tools and implement process improvements.
- Contribute to a culture of respect, transparency, and inclusivity within the legal team and across the organization.
- Take ownership of work assignments, think innovatively, and challenge the status quo to drive innovation in legal processes and practices.
- Learn how to handle compliance issues related to personal data protection and provide opinions on legal considerations in the company.

**Profile**:

- 0,5-2 years’ experience in a law firm and/or as in-house legal counsel within an international context.
- Italian law degree. Admission to the Bar is an advantage.
- Strong interest in commercial, consumer law and competition law.
- Fluent in Italian and English. Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a business-oriented mindset, capable of taking initiative and spearheading projects independently.

**What we offer**:
Permanent contract, full time

Hybrid work (2 days at home Monday/Friday + 3 days at the office)
