Worldline is looking for a **Junior Legal Specialist** to join the Group Legal and Contract Management Department Team.

This position will be full-time, based in Milano and will report to the Head of Legal Italy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support in legal, compliance and corporate governance matters (Board of Directors Meetings and General Meetings) relating to the Italian entities within Worldline Group;
- ensure compliance with all applicable laws including data privacy and regulations (with particular focus on banking and payments laws and regulations);
- negotiate and manage commercial legal work (contracts for clients, suppliers, partners, website terms and conditions, etc.);
- support the business on the negotiations of legal aspects of M&A processes, strategic partnership, key commercial agreements and other corporate and business development initiatives;
- act as legal business partner to various departments; build strong relationships across the organisation; liaise with outside counsel;
- manage regulatory complaints processes (reclami) and enquiries from authorities affecting the Italian entities;
- manage and foresee business risks and opportunities by regularly reviewing changes in the regulatory/legal environment;
- support the rest of the Worldline’s Group Legal team, and senior management;
- Provide proactive, timely and business-focused legal advice on payments services regulation;
- Providing general legal assistance and performing legal tasks including legal research and analysis of key issues
- Prepare and negotiate contracts with preponderant IT component and have strong knowledge of technology outsourcing contracts

**Job Requirements**:

- Law Batchelor’s degree
- 2 years work experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel, preferably in the financial services, payments services and IT sector;
- Organized, with a keen attention for detail and an ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in drafting legal documents in clear and plain English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: fluent English is a must, and other European languages may be useful
