We are looking for a **Sales Manager** join our Industrial Measurements organization at Vaisala Italy in Gallarate (VA).

Joining us means becoming the third member of our Italy sales team, contributing to the success story from the very beginning. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in helping Vaisala make a significant impact in Italy. In this role you will be working in close co-operation with the Italian team and you will report to Senior Sales Manager.

**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
- Promote Vaisala offering by visiting existing and potential new customers, participating in exhibitions and fairs, organizing customer seminars, etc. to generate sales.
- Seek new customers and leads, turning them into sales opportunities, and closing the deals successfully.
- Prepare quotations and tenders in accordance with Vaisala sales process.

Your sales territory will be some Italian regions along the whole country.

Travelling is expected in this role as our customer are spread throughout the national territory.

The role and responsibilities can be tailored according to the employee’s professional interests and level of experience.

**WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?**
- Experience in B2B sales
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Suitable technical background (e.g., education in engineering or experience from technical sales)
- Experience with managing customer accounts
- Language skills: Italian and English are required.
