**About the position**:
As an Associate in the front office Specialized Lending / Project & Structured Finance Transaction Management team, you will support and work closely with Sector Relationship Managers and Deal Principals (“DPs”) on Project & Structured Finance transactions, reporting to the Specialized Lending Transaction Management Lead. The work will be fast-paced and multifaceted and you will also be eposed to, and epected to work with, several of the other sectors in which ING specializes. You will also work with senior Specialized Lending Transaction Management colleagues and Portfolio Management colleagues.

The Transaction Management team will be involved with every new non-recourse, long-term Project & Structured Finance lending transaction in the sectors of Energy, Real Estate and Telecom, Media, Technology&Healthcare and will take primary responsibility for many of the key processes.

The role involves regular contact with clients, prospects, other banks, technical and legal advisors as well as frequent cooperation with internal departments such as Credit Risk Management, Legal, and Deal Eecution/Deal Administration.

**Responsibilities include a.o.**:
- Preparing and efficiently processing of credit approval packages, including reviewing due diligence;-
- Analysis of different transaction structures and providing recommendations;-
- Preparing business comparables and analysis of debt structures, performance metrics and debt pricing;-
- Support to Sector Relationship Managers in preparing internal commercial approval memos,;-
- Developing/reviewing project finance debt models, running financial models with sensitivity analysis and validation of key assumptions;-
- Running internal models including risk ratings and loan pricing, and interfacing with risk management to establish the appropriate internal risk rating;-
- Interfacing with loan operations, treasury and the lending center of ecellence units to verify limit availability, and compliance with internal policies;-
- Preparation of marketing materials and lending analytics for clients;-
- Assisting with term sheet negotiations and with reviewing legal documentation and validating key terms & conditions;-
- Attending meetings and calls with customers including transaction-related due diligence;-
- Responsibility for deal closing including final CPs and obtaining the final loan documents, and support to drawdowns and closing mechanics in cooperation with back office colleagues;-
- Ensuring a consistent level of quality and policy compliance through training and development activities;-
- Staying current on organizational operating policies and procedures (i.e. Risk, Legal, etc.);-
- Working with and mentor Analysts and Interns by supporting them in their personal and professional development as lending professionals.**Qualifications and Competencies**

**Qualifications / Education**:
Master’s degree in finance/economics/accounting/management/engineering (or similar); CFA a plus

Eperience / Knowledge:
- 2-5 years of relevant Project & Structured Finance eperience (Telecom-Media-Technology related field eperience will be considered a plus)**Competencies**:
